Sorting the Hotel Issue

Finding a place to stay for your guests is a pain in the neck. Hotel Map is a great painkiller.

We've all been there. Managing hotel reservations for a conference is a nightmare. Collecting bookings doubles the amount of work. On the other hand suggesting hotels to your guests may lead to unfair pricing. London based Hotel Map is a great solution to the hustle.

They developed their own maps and agreements with hotels in London, in order to enhance a rather dull experience. They did it through a gorgeous looking, interactive platform where guests can see availability in the event area and get the lowest possible price.

Although limited to the London area, Hotel Map immediately took my heart and I now use it also for my personal reservations. To be honest you can achieve lots with Google maps, but Hotel Maps' simplicity and the fact they work with an internal team of developers is a no-brainer if you organize events in London.

I agree. It's a great approach.

I stayed at a hotel in Japan (Tokyo) that used the same approach. It was the Ginza Capital Annex Hotel in Ginza. They even made the map into placemats and used them in their coffee shop/café where they served breakfast. The map was clear, bright, colourful, fun, and extremely helpful. I asked for an extra copy and I still it.

Toronto Tourism uses a similar approach to their map of the downtown core and surrounding areas (from Chinatown all the way over the The Distillery District).

This is a great idea, I can see how you could run into problems when trying to suggest hotels to clients. The issues that could arise with price or location could cause endless problems. Hotel Maps could go along way to ease clients worries about getting the best price while still being close to their event site.
